Merchants have pondered the same question for as long as shopping has existed: how do I get more customers to come into my store? But then technology came into the picture, and brands suddenly changed their approach: let’s bring the store to the customer on his or her own terms, using their homes as their fitting room. And e-commerce was born.
First launched in 2005 in France, Louis Vuitton’s e-commerce service has expanded worldwide, with Singapore, Malaysia, and New Zealand as its latest additions in a 25-country network. The new e-commerce website will allow clients to search, discover and purchase a wide range of products including ready-to-wear for men and women, leather goods, small leather goods, shoes, accessories, watch and jewellery, luggage and fragrances. A variety of personalisation services such as hot stamping and engraving are also available online, offering clients the opportunity to create unique products.
In addition, customers have the option to select for a complimentary same day or next day delivery for their purchases to be delivered directly to their home via the Louis Vuitton “White Glove Service” or choose to “Click and Collect” them from Louis Vuitton Ngee Ann City store.
