The Binge List: Brand New TV Shows To Catch On Netflix This Fortnight (18 Jan – 31 Jan)


Chinese New Year is around the corner and with the holidays fast approaching, this essentially translates to you having more time off from work! In the previous Binge List, ELLE Singapore has featured some of the most promising TV show returns in January and to conclude the month, we are including three more new shows to be added to the list!


1. The Ghost Bride (2020)

Starring Huang Pei Jia, Wu Kang-jen, Ludi Lim

Set in the 1890s Colonial Malacca, Li Lan (Huang Pei Jia) has been offered to wed the deceased son of the wealthy Lim Family as a “ghost bride” in order to save her family from an irredeemable amount of debt. Based on the 2013 New York Times’s bestselling novel of the same name, The Ghost Bride sheds light on an age-old eerie tradition and soon sees Li Lan get herself mired in a murder-mystery as well as entities from the netherworld.

The Ghost Bride is available on Netflix on 23 January 2020.

2. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Part Three (2020)

Starring Kiernan Shipka, Ross Lynch, Gavin Leatherwood, Lucy Davis, Chance Perdomo, Michelle Gomez, Jaz Sinclair, Tati Gabrielle

Back with more magick, voodoo and hexes, Part Three of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina follows the harrowing events of the previous seasons and sees half-mortal, half-witch Sabrina Spellman (Kiernan Shipka) and her mortal friends from the “The Fright Club” embarking on a new grave venture to save and free her possessed boyfriend, Nicholas Scratch (Gavin Leatherwood), from hell.

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Part Three is available on Netflix on 24 January 2020.

3. Next In Fashion (2020)
