Sophie Turner wants her followers to know that she’s taking the coronavirus pandemic very seriously and that they should be, too. In an Instagram Live video featuring her husband, Joe Jonas, Turner threw some shade at people who are ignoring advice from experts to stay home. In particular, Turner indirectly called out actress Evangeline Lilly for writing on Instagram that things for her family were “#businessasusual” and that “some people value their lives over their freedom.”
In her Instagram Live video, Turner might have used a fun filter to make her and Jonas look kind of like bobble-head dolls, but her message was serious.
“Stay inside,” Turner urged her followers. “Don’t be fucking stupid. Even if you count your ‘freedom over…your health. I don’t give a [makes an ‘f’ noise] about your freedom,” she said, using air-quotes around ‘freedom.’ “You could be infecting other people, other vulnerable people around you by doing this. So stay inside, guys. It’s not cool, and it’s not big, and it’s not clever. And that’s the tea.”

When Turner sounded out an ‘f’ to say exactly what how she feels about people’s “freedom,” Jonas’s eyes got wide, which was pretty funny to see with the filter.
Jonas then nodded in agreement as his wife continued to lay down the law.
Besides writing in her photo caption that she was dropping her kids off at gymnastics camp, Lilly added some more information about herself in the comments on her post.
“I am also immune compromised at the moment,” she wrote. “I have two young kids. Some people value their lives over freedom, some people value freedom over their lives. We all make our choices.”
Lilly isn’t the only celebrity making headlines over coronavirus comments. Actress Vanessa Hudgens said in a video on her Instagram story last week that “even if everybody gets it, like yeah, people are going to die, which is terrible…but inevitable?” She has since apologised for the comments after fans expressed their disapproval.
Take this as a warning: If you’re not already staying home because it’s the right thing to do, then Sophie Turner will tell you. And she won’t hold back.
