Yesterday, BLACKPINK’s Lisa Manoban blessed fans all over the world with a sizzling dance cover to QUIN and 6LACK’s “Mushroom Chocolate” on her personal YouTube channel, Lilifilm Official. There is no denying how talented Lisa is when it comes to dancing and she delivered spectacularly with this incredibly sexy cover, choreographed by Cheshir Ha. The 23-year-old K-pop star also showed her support for Ha’s choreography with an Instagram post on her official account, which to date has over 31 million followers, making Lisa the most followed celebrity in South Korea.

BLACKPINK’s fandom, BLINKs absolutely went nuts over this dance cover as many are missing their favourite K-pop girl group. Hence, it’s great that Lisa is providing fresh content for her fans. The four-member group has been planning for a big comeback for months with their talent agency, YG Entertainment teasing a global project and new music in March of 2020.

However, due to the global pandemic, plans have been postponed and fans grow increasingly frustrated as this was not the first time that YG Entertainment has delayed BLACKPINK’s comeback. Furthermore, for a K-pop girl group of their calibre and popularity, BLACKPINK surprisingly has yet to release a full studio album as previous projects were all EPs. Hence, fans are starved for new music, seeing as the group has been on hiatus for over a year. This is unusual for girl groups in the K-pop industry as they often have multiple comebacks in a year.
