Probably the coolest collaboration to have hit Japanese retailer we all know and love, Uniqlo, will be arriving in Singapore real soon. Uniqlo has revealed the Billie Eilish by Takashi Murakami UT collection and it’s exactly what we hoped it would be. The young multi-Grammy winner and pop phenomenon connected with world-renowned Japanese contemporary artist, Takashi Murakami over Instagram DMs. The pop heavyweights jointly created the music video for Eilish’s song “You Should See Me in a Crown”, with Murakami drawing on Eilish’s ideas to animate it in his inimitable style.
Uniqlo’s signature basics such as T-shirts and hats are decorated with Murakami’s iconic psychedelic flowers fused with Eilish’s photos and logo. The collection is relatively edited for a Uniqlo collab, with a good number of designs to choose from. It drops online on 22 June and in stores on 26 June.
