Louis Vuitton’s Stylish New Fine Jewellery Collection Transcends Gender

Xiao Xing Mao

Trust Francesca Amfitheatrof to transform ordinary things into the extraordinary. Her track record shows us that anything the American-Italian jewellery designer touches reverberates with modernity. Case in point? Her very own label Thief & Heist, which centres on a single item — a simple tag bracelet. And also her role as Louis Vuitton’s artistic director of watches and jewellery, which saw her launching B.Blossom last year, a debut collection full of chunky pieces featuring the house’s logo set in precious metals and contemporary gemstones.

This time — continuing her penchant for unapologetically modern design —  comes the Volt, which transforms the capital “L” and “V” letters into architectural building blocks for a collection that appeals to both genders. The two letters lend themselves perfectly to a graphic rendition, and with the innovative spirit of the brand in mind, Amfitheatrof elevates this in two ways.

The first keeps both letters in their purest forms — to complete one other, stacked up or blended together on rings and necklaces. The second interpretation weaves “L” and “V” into a myriad of textures and volumes, joining them into a series of prismatic chain links that are fashioned into drop earrings or wide bangles.

The LV Volt Fine Jewellery collection is now pre-launched in Singapore, across all our boutiques: Marina Bay Sands Island Maison, ION Orchard, and Takashimaya Shopping Centre Ngee Ann City. Meanwhile, check out the collection below:
