Mango’s Fall/Winter 2020 Campaign Transports You To An Uplifting Retreat

Mango FW20 Collection

With the global pandemic and travels coming to a halt in 2020, we, along with many others, have felt the full brunt of isolation. With social-distancing measures still in place, we have not been able to mingle and meet our friends and loved ones in the way that we used to or even would like to. Still, this time of isolation can provide a much needed break from the hustle and bustle or daily life.

Spanish retailer, Mango’s latest fashion campaign shot by London-based filmmaker and photographer Ronan Gallagher and stars model, Malgosia Bela. Set at a beautiful island in Spain called Mallorca, the series of images are both spacious and isolated at the same time with images on Bela lounging in a brick house with her dog.

Terracotta Tones

When it comes to autumnal hues and warm colour palettes, no one does it better than the Spanish retailer, Mango. The brand has always been synonymous with versatile and crisp basics in warm tones that can be worn more casually in summer and more formally (in the form of coats and blazers) in cooler months.

The trick to making these brown hues pop is to play with texture. Try mixing in fun shearling pieces to contrast with softer and more refined textures like cotton and linen. The best thing about this trend is that it’s pretty much timeless. Earth tones like warm browns, beiges and caramel colours are staples in any chic wardrobe and go with just about anything.

Monochrome Mix ‘N’ Match

Two piece sets are so in right now. They take all the guesswork out of planning your outfit and they are a guaranteed to take a great #OOTD. A crop top and skirt combo is so simple yet incredibly effective in creating that air of sophistication. Opt for pieces in solid, slate colours if you’re for an alternative to a classic black. Throw on your favourite outerwear and boom! You’re done.

Warm & Fuzzy

Sure, it might be a little scary to wear knits in sunny Singapore. But we all tend to forget how much time we spend in air-conditioning anyways. There’s something elegant about knit in summery silhouettes. An off-shoulder knit top in ivory white classes up any look while still keeping you just warm enough. Don’t even get us started on how cute a shearling bucket hat will be! The fuzzy texture goes perfectly with the playful shape and is such an easy statement piece to throw on. Opt for a crisp white or warm beige to give an otherwise “fall” material a summery feel.
