Milan Fashion Week just came and went so quickly that we have yet to find time to digest the multitude of fashion shows that happened over the course of the week. Before we fully step into Paris Fashion Week-mode, let’s look back at the key accessories spotted on the Spring/Summer 2021 runways in Milan.
This season, the trend of teeny-tiny bags have significantly died down. Instead, teh pendulum has swung all the way to the other end of the spectrum as most brands including Max Mara, Dolce & Gabbana and Valentino showcased handbags that are large and in charge. From totes to even the classic flap, these bags are both practical and a fashion statement (if you wish it to be, just pick a bold hue). Perhaps what the pandemic era has allowed us to reflect on is that practicality still holds a precedence, even in fashion.
