Georgia May’s First…
“I was really young when I did my first photoshoot. It was for i-D magazine and I was 14. It was at a pub in London where this woman collects taxidermy, so it was a bit creepy. I was also really nervous and it was really cold, but everyone made me feel at home. We all had fish and chips at the end of the day. I thought it was going to be a lot scarier than it was.”

“Power to me means confidence and standing up for yourself. Feeling powerful is also about being in a group of women, and being in control of your own destiny.”
Gift to Herself
“The first time I properly treated myself was when I bought my house in London. I was 22. I always wanted my own home so it was like a dream. I was like literally hugging the walls of my house when I first moved in with no furniture or anything (laughs). I just love it! It’s always going to be my home and I think I’ll never sell it. I live in Brooklyn, New York, now but I’ll always keep that house.”
