Longchamp’s first-ever monogrammed collection is hitting our shores and we are excited!
The monogram, literally lettered “LGP”, made its first appearance at the brand’s Fall/ Winter 2019 show earlier this year at New York Fashion Week, where it was jigsaw puzzled to create a maze-like optical illusion in black and white on the seasons’ bags, leather jackets, trousers, and coats.
According to Longchamp, the new logo captures the spirit of the season — a youthful spirit, joyous energy, and an urban sense of fun. It is, too, the 70-year-old French brand’s attempt to woo the millennial market.
This month, Longchamp released a collection of unisex offerings — from ready-to-wear sweatshirts, puffy jackets, accessories, backpacks, belt bags and multi-way crossbody bags — all imprinted with the LGP monogram.
The highlight of the collection, however, was the monogrammed Le Pliage nylon travel bags, and a monogrammed ultra-light cabin case.
The capsule collection will hit all Singapore’s Longchamp boutiques come 14th May. Here is the preview of the collection and prices:
