As a house whose genesis is the craft of travel trunks dating back to the 1800s, the spirit of traversing the world is Louis Vuitton’s creed. It’s embedded in all endeavours—from the garments to the accessories, and the monumental show locations that host each season’s runway—with their latest fine jewellery range, the B.Blossom riffing off this heritage with modern talismans to inspire one’s travels.
Anchored by the Georges-Louis Vuitton-designed star-shaped flower with diamonds as its petals, hard stones associated with healing and protection properties like malachite, pink opal, white agate and onyx pepper the yellow and pink gold pieces in a bead-like design. They sit atop slender, stackable rings, dangle from chain bracelets, and are nestled seamlessly on a signet ring and cuff bracelet.
Though make no mistake—these lucky charms aren’t the sort you’d find in your grandmother’s jewellery collection. As the debut creation of Francesca Amfitheatrof, previously of Tiffany and Co. and now the artistic director of watches and jewellery at Louis Vuitton, the designer’s modern—edgy, even— sensibilities are palpable. Most definitively, in the industrial-style chains that give heft to otherwise dainty charm bracelets and drop earrings.
The B.Blossom fine jewellery collection is available at Louis Vuitton boutiques located at the Marina Bay Sands Island Maison and Ion Orchard.
